Seventeen Cosmetics - Smoulder Gel Eyeliner

Today I am going to be writing about my current favourite eyeliner.

Now when I started using eyeliner, I used the collection 2000 liquid waterproof eyeliner in black. I really loved this eyeliner, but I noticed it dried out quickly on my eye and flaked a lot when doing my 'wings'. So for a long time I stopped using eyeliner and only used eye shadow, also the liquid eyeliner would go in my eyelashes and make it difficult to use masscara and to take off on a night.

I decided to have a look into gel eyeliner, so about a month ago I think, I went to Boots and picked myself up a gel eyeliner from Seventeen.

Now this product does come with a small brush which I do show in my recent Youtube video which is my February Favourites. Now unfortunatly I do not know how much I paid for this but on the site it is currently £3.99. This product either way was under £5.00 and it is brilliant for the price. The brush is tiny and the actual brush/bristles are/is thin. I find this very easy to use and I really enjoy using this product. I feel the gel eyeliner is easier to use then the liqued eyeliner in my personal opinion, I think it is quick and easy to use and quicker then liquid because you can get a very faint line on your eye to outline your actual eyeliner. This product is so so black and because it is a gel eyeliner it doesn't do that weird cracking thing liquid does. I recomend using a gel eyeliner if you're not good at using liquid eyeliner, as I have said this is a cheap product so it's not too bad if you buy this one and don't like it. If you try this product but you don't like the way the brush works on your eye ect you can try and angled eyeliner brush which is apperently easier then the brushes that come with the gel eyeliner but personaly I haven't tried this methode yet.

In conclusion I feel this eye liner is brilliant for first time gel eyeliner users. It is very black and if you need to darken it, use a black eye shadow on top just to darken this up. Also as a bounus, this product doesn't smudge! I 100% love this product and highly recomend this product.
